The idea of such a composition has been around for a long time, but for ceramics. It turned out that it is quite possible to do this in bronze.
I experimented with wax impregnated cloth. I laid it on a plaster torso, and then soldered it to the wax of a naked torso. This method is good because each sculpture turns out to be one of a kind and the weight of the casting is small, respectively, and the price.
Fortunately, there was an oak cube in the workshop, which matched very well to the bronze.
